We collect the following categories of personal information:

• Account data: name, email, password, profile information
• Enrolment data: programs you join, cohort details, capstone submissions
• Payment data: billing name, address, payment method tokens (we never store full card numbers — they are handled by Stripe)
• Communication data: support tickets, survey responses, community posts
• Usage data: pages visited, lessons completed, device and browser information, IP address

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our courses and platform
• Process payments and prevent fraud
• Send course-related notifications, capstone reviews, and customer support
• Send marketing communications (you can opt out at any time)
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
• Research and improve our pedagogy in aggregate, anonymized form

For visitors and users in the EU, UK, and similar jurisdictions, we process your data on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract (when you enroll in a program), legitimate interest (to operate and improve the platform), consent (for marketing emails and optional cookies), and legal obligation (for tax and accounting records).

We share personal information with:

• Service providers we use to run the business — Stripe (payments), Postmark (email), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (security), HubSpot (CRM), Notion (operations)
• Instructors who teach your program, strictly for the purpose of reviewing your work
• Authorities, when required by valid legal process

We do not sell your personal information. We do not allow third parties to use your information for their own marketing.

Nexlyx is based in the United States. If you access the platform from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Port your information to another service
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications

You can exercise any of these rights by emailing support@nexlyx.net. We respond within 30 days. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA.

We use a small set of first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to measure how the site is used. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

We use industry-standard security measures, including TLS for data in transit, hashed passwords, role-based access control, and continuous monitoring. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@nexlyx.net immediately.

We will update this policy when our practices or applicable laws change. Material changes will be announced by email and on this page at least 14 days before they take effect.
